Our dedicated and caring team are focused on raising awareness of the need for more research into finding a cure for Alzheimer’s.
Beth Sholom,
Founder and CEO of the Smash Out Alzheimer's Foundation
For many years, Beth Sholom has advocated and raised money for various Alzheimer’s charities in order to find a cure for Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases. She has organized and hosted 2 “Smash Out Alzheimer’s” events to raise awareness of the need for more research into finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and raise money to find a cure through events and in-person and online fundraisers.
Because so many of Right at Home of Central New Jersey’s past and present clients suffer from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, Beth Sholom has always been passionate about finding a cure for this insidious disease. She decided to form a 501c3 tax-exempt organization to be able to raise funds for Alzheimer’s-related organizations on an ongoing basis all year long.
Beth’s dream was realized in early 2021 when she received designation for the Smash Out Alzheimer’s Foundation to continue our fundraising efforts until a cure is found! Right at Home of Central New Jersey is proud to announce that the Smash Out Alzheimer’s Foundation is the official charity of Right at Home of Central New Jersey.
Ellen Burke
Before she worked for Right at Home of Central New Jersey, Ellen was a client who hired Right at Home of Central New Jersey to care for her father so she has experienced the care and understanding and compassion of both Beth Sholom and all of her caregivers first hand.
As our social media manager, Ellen manages this page (and all of our social media accounts) as well as writing articles to provide good and helpful information to our caregivers, our partners, our clients and their family members.
As a caregiver for a family member with dementia, Ellen understands only too well the challenges people face and is focused on doing all she can with Beth to "smash out Alzheimer's" once and for all.
Kieran Carmon
As our marketing manager, Kieran combines her passion for helping people with her creativity. She is the person who designs our great graphics to share information with our clients, their families, and our professional partners.
When she's not assisting the office team, she enjoys creating art, hiking, kayaking, and rooting for her son in his various sports!
Hali Figueroa
Working for Right at Home of Central New Jersey has allowed Hali to follow her passion of helping people by providing them with a valuable service. Hali is our director of client care and is the first point of contact with our caregivers, our clients, and the various sectors of support for the elderly and their families. Hali provides them with good information and serves as a resource on pointing people in the right direction.
